David Hernandez Fatal Crash Pearblossom Highway, State Route 138 in Llano
Man, 37, Killed in Crash on SR-138 is Identified
LLano, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2023) — Brothers, David Hernandez, 37, and Michael Hernandez, both died in a crash early Tuesday morning on Pearblossom Highway (State Route 138) at 185th Street East in the Llano area in the Antelope Valley.
A car and an SUV collided due to unknown circumstances on Pearblossom Highway (SR-138) at around 1:07 a.m. on Nov. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
One of the vehicles “flipped on its side” and the other was found on the opposite side of the roadway blocking traffic lanes. Debris was scattered across the middle of the road.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured.
David Hernandez became trapped in his vehicle and died at the scene. His brother, Michael Hernandez was badly injured and transported to a hospital where he later died.
The family of the two brothers has a Gofundme page to raise money for their funeral.
Liability for the crash will be determined by police upon the completion of their investigation.
