Rider Dies in Collision Near Junction Road
Kern County, CA (November 7, 2022) – David Wayne Horsley, a 58-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on China Grade Loop Sunday.
According to Bakersfield.com, Horsley was riding a 2000 Harley-Davidson heading west on China Grade Loop. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the left a 2012 Ford F-250.
Officials said the horrible crash happened when the rider veered to the left of the truck; and at about the same time, the Ford made a left turn at the intersection. The two vehicles collided near Junction Road.
Fatal Traffic Crash on China Grade Loop in Kern County
California Highway Patrol group logged the incident at about 3:13 p.m. Shortly after the incident, rescue teams arrived and checked the conditions of all parties involved in the crash. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased as David Wayne Horsley, of Bakersfield.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the deadly accident that happened on China Grade Loop in Kern County.
