Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Roselle Avenue
Stanislaus County, CA (May 5, 2022) – David Klingenfuss, a 30-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Briggsmore Avenue.
The Modesto Bee News reported a car struck a male party just west of Roselle Avenue Thursday morning. Preliminary investigation revealed a vehicle was heading east on Briggsmore Avenue when the horrible crash happened.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Briggsmore Avenue in Stanislaus County
Shortly after 3:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found the victim lying unconscious on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as David Klingenfuss, of Modesto.
Police shut down the area between Oakdale and Roselle, to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly accident on Briggsmore Avenue in Stanislaus County.
