Driver Killed in Suspected DUI Crash is Identified

 David Morales Cabrera Fatal Crash Fowler Ave, Harlan Ave, Fresno County FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 28, 2021) – David Morales Cabrera, 28, of Hanford, died Monday night in a collision at Fowler Avenue and Harlan Avenue in Fresno County.

The suspected DUI crash also injured two others about 9:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol and ABC 30 News.

Police report a pickup truck allegedly crossed over the center divider and collided with a second motorist. The collision happened near the intersection of Fowler Avenue and Harlan Avenue.

DUI Suspected in Fatal Car Collision

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash scene. They confirmed that the man driving the pickup died. Meanwhile, two occupants of the other vehicle were hurt during the collision.

The female driver of the second vehicle was airlifted to the Community Regional Medical Center due to major injuries. Additionally, a ground ambulance rushed the male passenger of the same vehicle to the hospital with minor wounds.

The CHP found several beer cans inside the pickup truck that allegedly caused the collision.

Finally, police temporarily closed down Fowler and Harlan avenues to investigate the collision.
