Pedestrian Fatality ID’d as David Samuel Olalde of San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2018) — David Samuel Olalde, 63, of San Bernardino, died Monday night when he was struck by a southbound motorist at N. Waterman Ave. & E. Marshall Blvd. in San Bernardino, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The Labor Day pedestrian crash was reported about 10:40 p.m. last night. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the injured man to a hospital, but he died of his injuries.
The San Bernardino Police Department is heading up the investigation into what happened and liability.

A full investigation into what caused this collision is underway. Police will piece together evidence and speak with witnesses to determine fault.
