Fatal Collision at West China Grade Loop and McCray Street
Bakersfield, CA (July 29, 2022) – David Allen Roach, a 43-year-old man, died following a car accident that occurred in the area of West China Grade Loop and McCray Street.
The KGET News reported Roach was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado heading west West China Grade Loop. Our sources indicated the Silverado collided with a Volvo XC90. Preliminary investigation revealed the cars drove at the same time through the intersection at McCray Street.
The catastrophic incident took place on July 12 at about 9:38 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a man lying on the ground. Responding performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as David Allen Roach.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the collision.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened at West China Grade Loop and McCray Street.
