 David Singh, Chad Bean, Ashley Arias Fatal Fresno Crash Elm AvenueFRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2021) — David Singh, 35, and his passengers, Chad Bean,, 36, Ashley Arias, 29, all died in a collision on South Elm Avenue in Fresno County.

The solo-vehicle collision happened as an SUV they were riding in headed southbound on Elm Street, just north of W. Rose Avenue, according to the Fresno California Highway Patrol. The vehicle went off the roadway and collided into a large tree on a residential property where it overturned onto its side.

CHP officers and medical emergency personnel responded to the scene. The Ford Expedition overturned with David Singh behind the wheel and his passengers in the front and back seats. All three were partially ejected during the impact of the collision. Also, none of them were wearing seatbelts, police said.

Investigators do not know why the driver allowed the Ford to swerve off the roadway, but they are investigating the circumstances.

The driver and both passengers, all from Caruthers, died at the scene.

It is unknown if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this crash.
