LOS ANGELES, California (October 16, 2016) – A traffic collision in North Hills killed a motorcyclist identified as David Villatoro and seriously injured a van passenger Sunday afternoon, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Nordhoff Street near Noble Avenue.
As per the article, Los Angeles Fire Department said the North Hollywood man riding the motorcycle collided with a van which was carrying three people at the time.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities said the front seat passenger of the vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, was extricated after being pinned inside the van. She was transported to a hospital where she was listed in serious condition.
The female driver and a male passenger were unharmed.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
