Wreck Traps Parties in Vehicle
DAVIS, CALIFORNIA (March 30, 2016) – At least one person was hospitalized following a traffic collision on eastbound 80 Freeway Wednesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 7:37 p.m.
Preliminary record stated the authorities authorities responded to an emergency call requesting for medical aid on the freeway near Chiles Road off-ramp.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located one overturned vehicle on the dirt road. It was not clear whether there was another automobile involved in the incident.
The CHP log mentioned parties trapped inside the wreckage. But no specific count on the people needed to be extricated was provided.
In a later note, one person was narrated to have been rescued and transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of sustained wounds of unknown severity.
The CHP report information on the case was minimal.
Officers continue to investigate on the cause of the crash.
