At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on 80 Freeway Wednesday
Davis, CA (September 29, 2021) – A suspected DUI car crash occurred Wednesday evening on the Interstate 80 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Our sources indicated a black sedan collided with a big rig in the westbound side of the freeway at Olive Drive offramp.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding emergency crews found the sedan slammed into the center divider. Officials added the sedan also hit several other cars during the accident.
Medical personnel reportedly rendered aid to at least one person, possibly a juvenile. Due to the extent of injuries of the victim, paramedics rushed them with their mother to Vacaville Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile, authorities discussed one driver involved in the incident showed signs of intoxication. The name of the DUI suspect remained undisclosed.
