Dayanna Tamayo, 19, Fatal Victim in Traffic Collision on San Bernardino (10) Freeway Saturday
Baldwin Park, CA (August 29, 2021) – Dayanna Tamayo, a 19-year-old woman, died following a car crash that occurred in the area of San Bernardino (10) Freeway and Puente Avenue.
According to My News LA, a passenger vehicle collided with a semi-trailer at the Baldwin Park intersection. The catastrophic incident took place around 3:02 a.m.

Responding emergency crews found at the scene one person unconscious. Paramedics performed CPR to the victim, but the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The Coroner’s Office later confirmed the identity of the deceased as Dayanna Tamayo, of Baldwin Park.

Authorities added the crash left at least one person trapped in the wreckage. After firefighters successfully extricated the victim, an ambulance rushed them to the hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities continue to withhold the names of both the fatal victim, and injured party pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the fatal car crash in Baldwin Park.
