Deadly Bicycle Accident on Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 2, 2025) — A man riding a bicycle was killed in a hit-and-run car accident late Sunday night on Century Boulevard in South Los Angeles.

The collision happened around 11:10 p.m. on June 1st at San Pedro Street in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Cyclist Killed in South LA Hit-and-Run

Authorities say both the cyclist and the vehicle were headed west on Century when the car hit the man and kept driving without stopping.

The victim, believed to be a man in his mid-30s, died at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

No information on the suspect or the vehicle involved has been released.

Footage from the scene showed a mangled bicycle in the roadway and a white police tent nearby as officers investigated.
