Cyclist Killed in Collision Near Santa Clarita
Los Angeles, CA (April 30, 2022) – A bicyclist died following a traffic accident that occurred on Sand Canyon Road Saturday, the KHTS News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck the cyclist in the 21000 block of Sand Canyon Road. The horrible crash took place in the Angeles Forest.

Shortly after 12:40 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the cyclist found lying on the ground. According to the article published online, the victim sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The Newhall California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene. Despite life-saving performed by medical personnel, the cyclist sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the unfortunate event. Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly accident Sand Canyon Road in Angeles Forest.
