1 Killed, 1 Injured in Traffic Collision at Grant Street and Brentwood Boulevard Sunday
Brentwood, CA (June 27, 2021) – One driver died, and another suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Grant Street and Brentwood Boulevard.
The East County Today reported two vehicles collided at the Brentwood intersection. Per article published online, a car heading northbound on Brentwood Boulevard; and another car heading westbound on Grant Street drove through the intersection at the same time.
Officials said the incident resulted in significant damage to both automobiles.

Shortly after 3:40 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Paramedics reportedly found a 72-year-old female motorist with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned the other driver involved in the wreck escaped death with major injuries. Due to the condition of the patient, medical personnel rushed them to a local hospital for treatment.
