Deadly, DUI Crash Fair Oaks Boulevard in Arden Arcade (Dec. 12, 2024)

Fatal Collision on Fair Oaks Blvd., at Mission Avenue

ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2024) — A suspected DUI driver was arrested following a deadly crash early Thursday morning on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Arden-Arcade.

The collision occurred at around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 12th at Fair Oaks Boulevard at Mission Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A young man driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck was headed west on Fair Oaks Boulevard at the same time as a woman in a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling south on Mission Avenue, the report said.

The two vehicles collided at the Arden Arcade intersection and the woman from the Camaro died following the crash.

The unidentified man in his 20s driving the Dodge was not injured, the report said.

CHP officials determined the driver of the Dodge was driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested him following the collision.

Investigators are working on the case.
