Man Hit and Killed by Golf Cart at Discovery Bay Boulevard and Willow Lake Road Sunday
Contra Costa County, CA (September 5, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of Discovery Bay Boulevard and Willow Lake Road Sunday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a golf cart struck an individual at the intersection in Discovery Bay.

Shortly after 10:35 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the pedestrian with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident at Discovery Bay Boulevard and Willow Lake Road.
