Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man at James Road and Chester Extension Avenue
Oildale, CA (March 22, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reportedly fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of James Road and Chester Extension Avenue on March 22, Wednesday.
Per CHP dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the junction of James and Chester in Oildale. The make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash have not been revealed thus far.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Oildale
Officials said the collision took place around 10:39 p.m. Shortly after authorities received reports of the incident, they responded to the location and found a person lying down the roadway. Medical personnel immediately attended to the victim, and performed life-saving efforts. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and eventually passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the deadly accident. Investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fatal crash happened at James Road and Chester Extension Avenue in Oildale.
