Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Normandie and Dunwich Avenue
Los Angeles, CA (October 23, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Normandie and Dunwich Avenue.
According to My News LA, two or more vehicles hit a person at the intersection in the South Los Angeles area. Preliminary investigation revealed an SUV initially struck the pedestrian around 7 p.m. Shortly after, a second car, possibly a white sedan, run over the body lying in the roadway. The horrible crash took place Wednesday at approximately 7 p.m.
Emergency crews later arrived at the scene. First responders found the pedestrian unconscious. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Officials only identified the deceased as a man in his 30s.
The article published online mentioned the second motorist involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened at Normandie and Dunwich Avenue in Los Angeles.
