Woman Lying in Parking Lot Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Long Beach Boulevard Monday
Long Beach, CA (May 31, 2021) – A female pedestrian died following a traffic accident on Long Beach Boulevard Monday morning, the KTLA5 News reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed a woman was lying under a pile of blankets at a parking stall in Long Beach.
The catastrophic incident took place when a 2010 Scion XB drove through the business parking lot. According to the article published online, the driver of the Scion ran over the woman because he did not notice the individual lying on the ground.

Medical personnel rushed to the 2500 block of Long Beach Boulevard, and rendered aid to the female party. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the woman but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the pedestrian accident in Long Beach.
