Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man at Highway 162 and Kampong
Oroville, CA (June 7, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 162 and Kampong Court.
On June 7, Wednesday, a vehicle struck an individual in Oroville East. The make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash have not been discussed thus far.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Oroville
CHP logged the case at approximately 8:30 p.m. Shortly after, emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened at State Route Highway 162 and Kampong Court in Oroville East.
