Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near 14 Freeway Interchange
Newhall, CA (July 2, 2022) – One person died following a car and pedestrian accident that occurred on 5 Freeway early Saturday, the KHTS News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck an individual in the northbound side of I-5 near the 14 Freeway interchange. Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place at approximately 3:40 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a person lying down on the ground. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the catastrophic incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the deadly accident on 5 Freeway in Newhall.
