Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near San Simeon Drive
Rohnert Park, CA (July 1, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Friday on Rohnert Park Expressway, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated a male party was seen walking in a southerly direction across the Rohnert Park Expressway. While walking towards the center median, an oncoming Ford sedan struck the man.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Rohnert Park Expressway
According to the article published online, the collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian. Responding paramedics performed CPR to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. At this time, authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Officers mentioned the driver of the Ford sedan stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
The Department of Public Safety Major Accident Investigation Team is the agency handling the case. Detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident on Rohnert Park Expressway.
