One Killed in Crash Near Sacramento Airport
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2025) — A person was killed in a car crash reported Thursday morning on the 5 Freeway at the Airport Boulevard off ramp near the Sacramento International Airport.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene around 1 a.m. on Jan. 2nd to the scene of a two-vehicle collision.
The crash occurred at the Airport Boulevard exit from the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, the report said.
One person died at the scene and a second person suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 5 Freeway in Sacramento.
