Dean Camero Killed in Cajon Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15

Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Cleghorn Road Offramp

Cajon, CA (October 1, 2022) – Dean Camero, a 55-year-old Solvang resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported Camero suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Cajon. According to an article published online by the Daily Press, the pedestrian was walking in the slow lane of southbound I-15 Tuesday evening.

Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 in Cajon

Shortly after 11:27 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to victim found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department later identified the deceased as Dean Camero, of Solvang.

Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened in Cajon.
