FONTANA, Calif. (June 12, 2023) — Deavon Hall-Staten, 35, of Fontana, died Wednesday morning in a crash at Arrow Boulevard and Almeria Avenue in Fontana.
The rollover collision occurred around 10:29 a.m. on June 7th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The Fontana man was riding as a front-seat passenger in a blue SUV. The woman driving the vehicle reportedly when it crashed due to unknown circumstances.
The vehicle overturned and Deavon Hall-Staten suffered major injuries. Paramedics responded and rushed him to Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana where he later died at 11:10 a.m. the same day.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the vehicle was treated for minor injuries, according to the Fontana News Herald.
The Fontana Police Department is heading up the investigation.
