Bicyclist Injured in Del Aire Hit-and-Run at Pacific Concourse and La Cienega
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a bicyclist at Pacific Concourse Drive and La Cienega Boulevard in Del Aire.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident took place early Saturday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 3:05 a.m.
CHP determined that a vehicle struck the bicycle rider in the Del Aire area of Los Angeles. For an unknown reason, the driver struck the cyclist at the intersection of Pacific Concourse Drive and La Cienega Boulevard.
Driver Hits Rider, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 105 Freeway. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the bicyclist and then fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Pacific Concourse and La Cienega to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Del Aire hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
