DEL MAR (April 10, 2017)- According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a bicyclist was badly injured following a collision Sunday afternoon on Camino Del Mar.
At roughly 12:45 p.m., a 29-year-old woman had been looking for parking by the beach near Carmel Valley Road. The woman suddenly swerved after seeing an open parking space directly in front of a bicyclist cutting him off. The bicyclist, a 60-year-old man, went flying into the back windshield which shattered.
The man suffered moderate injuries to his legs, arm, and face before being transported to a hospital for his injuries.
Meanwhile, the woman was cited for causing the accident and did not appear to have been under the influence.
No further details have been released at this time.
