DEL MAR (May 12, 2016)- According to CBS 8 News San Diego, a major injury collision involving two vehicles was reported Thursday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 freeway.
The crash which occurred at roughly 4:00 a.m. near Del Mar Heights Road resulted in at least one vehicles overturning and quickly engulfing in flames.
At least one motorist was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to a trauma center.
There may have been several other patients injured with minor to moderate injuries.
