DEL MAR, California (May 8, 2016) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the 2500 block of Del Mar Heights Road Sunday morning, according to CBS 8.
The accident happened at around 11:00 a.m.
A preliminary report stated that a motorcyclist was traveling on Del Mar Heights when a car from southbound Boquita Drive pulled out from a stop sign.
The event led the motorcycle rider to collided with the left front fender of the vehicle.
The force of the impact resulted in the motorcyclist being ejected from the bike and sustaining a collapsed lung, a broken wrist and, and a broken collarbone.The hurt party was immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for proper treatment.

The CBS 8 published that the involved driver was neither suspected of having been under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as claimed by the police.
