4 Injured in Delano Crash at Cecil and Driver Monday
DELANO (December 18, 2018) – Three were hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Cecil Avenue and Driver Road Monday afternoon, according to Bakersfield Now.
California Highway Patrol said a black Cadillac was going south on Driver Road when its driver allegedly failed to notice a stop sign.
The Cadillac then collided with a green Mustang at the intersection of Cecil Avenue and Driver Road.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found all three people riding the Mustang injured as a result of the crash. The victims, whose ages range from 16 to 20 years old, suffered moderate to major injuries.
The two passengers of the Mustang were transported by ground ambulance while the driver was flown to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old man driving the Cadillac sustained minor wounds upon impact. The names of all the parties involved and their condition at this time were not available.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Based on the news report, the driver of the Cadillac is accused of failing to stop at a stop sign and hitting another car that led to the injuries of the innocent parties involved. Authorities will continue to investigate the crash and will determine whether or not driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs was a factor, whether or not excessive speed or distracted driving played a role, and whether or not the motorist who allegedly prompted the wreck was reckless at the time of the incident.
