DELANO, California (July 8, 2016) — One person died and one was injured early Friday morning after two vehicles collided in a fiery crash on County Line Road and Road 184, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The Kern County Fire Department responded and put out a fire in one of the vehicles. Paramedics were also at the scene to transport one person who suffered moderate injuries in the crash. The person who died in the collision was trapped in a car and had to be extricated by firefighters.
The crash is under investigation by police to determine liability.
