2 Injured in Delano Hit-and-Run Crash Near County Line Road and Patton Street
DELANO, CA (September 5, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash near County Line Road and Patton Street in Delano.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on September 4 at about 9:35 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a silver Chrysler 300 crashed in the city of Delano. The accident took place on westbound County Line Road near the intersection with Patton Street.
Collision Near Highway 99
CHP did not mention if another vehicle was involved in the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 99.
They found two passengers of the Chrysler who ended up hurt as a result of the crash. Medical personnel then took both patients to a Delano hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not help the victims and fled the area.
Officers forced the intersection of County Line Road and Patton Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Delano hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
