Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Delano Crash Zachary and Woollomes Avenues
DELANO, CA (May 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Zachary Avenue and Woollomes Avenue in Delano.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Thursday morning. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at around 8:22 a.m.
CHP said a Chevrolet pickup truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Delano. The two crashed near the intersection of Zachary and Woollomes avenues.
Motorcycle vs Car Collision Near Fishing Camp
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Lake Woollomes fishing camp. They found the motorcyclist hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP closed the area of Zachary and Woollomes following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the Chevrolet sustained any wound after the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Delano crash.
