1 Injured in Delhi Hit-and-Run Crash at South Avenue and Stephens Street
DELHI, CA (October 10, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at South Avenue and Stephens Street in Delhi.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at around 3:07 p.m.
For an unknown reason, a vehicle t-boned another for an unknown reason in Delhi. The two crashed at the intersection of South Avenue and Stephens Street.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a brown Honda Civic and a green Ford sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 99.
They found one person left wounded as a result of the collision. Medical personnel provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident.
The report did not release the name of the victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to help and then fled the area.
Officers forced the intersection of South Avenue and Stephens Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Delhi hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
