At Least 1 Airlifted After Collision Near Jackson Slough Road
Delta, CA (May 27, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on Highway 12 resulted in injuries, according to KCRA News.
Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided on the highway in Sacramento County Friday afternoon. Officials said the wreck involved as many as seven automobiles including a big rig car transporter. The make and model of the other cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Major Car Crash on Highway 12 in Delta
Shortly after 2 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, medical personnel decided to airlift at least one patient to the hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car accident on Highway 12 in Delta.
The multi-vehicle collision resulted in delayed traffic across the area.
