
Several Injured in Head-On Collision on Reynolds Ferry Road
Tuttletown, CA (May 3, 2023) – Dennis Braun, a 62-year-old man, suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Reynolds Ferry Road, according to My Motherlode News.
Earlier reports indicated Braun, of Waterford, was behind the wheel of a 2016 Lexus IS350 stopped to make a turn. When Braun proceeded to make the turn, an eastbound 2005 Honda Accord crashed head-on into the Lexus and another vehicle. The accident was reported on May 3, Wednesday, around 3:43 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found all vehicles disabled on the roadway just west of Highway 49. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all people involved in the collision. The article published online confirmed Dennis Braun, the Lexus driver, sustained injuries in the collision.
Authorities added two passengers in the Honda also suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Officials only identified the injured passengers as a 19-year-old Sonora resident; and a 27-year-old Stockton resident.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Injury Car Accident in Tuttletown
Investigators later determined the driver of the Honda crossed the center line and triggered the collision. Subsequently, police arrested the 20-year-old driver for felony DUI.
