
2 Hurt in Collision at Avenida Empresa and Avenida de las Banderas
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (January 19, 2023) – An Orange County sheriff’s deputy, an another person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Avenida Empresa and Avenida de las Banderas.
Patrol Vehicle vs. Car Crash in Rancho Santa Margarita
According to an article published online by the Orange County Register News, a patrol SUV and a pickup truck collided at the intersection in Rancho Santa Margarita on January 18, Wednesday. Earlier reports indicated the patrol SUV sustained front-end damage due to the force from the impact; while the pickup truck sustained rear-end damage.
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 10:30 p.m. When paramedics arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities mentioned an Orange County sheriff’s deputy and a passenger in the pickup truck both suffered injuries as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation, the names of the people hurt in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident that happened at Avenida Empresa and Avenida de las Banderas in Rancho Santa Margarita.
