Jeffrey McKee, 35, Fatally Hit by Loose Tire on Interstate 5
Los Angeles, CA (March 30, 2021) – On March 28, Sunday, 35-year-old Jeffrey McKee died in a road accident that occurred on Interstate 5 in East Los Angeles.
According to NBC News, was driving home from work Inmate Reception Center. In the area where Interstate 5 transitions to Long Beach (710) Freeway, a tire flew off a Toyota Tundra driving ahead of Deputy Jeffrey McKee.
Officials said the tire hit the roof and windshield of the Volvo S40 driven by the officer.
The catastrophic incident took place at about 5:30 a.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found Jeffrey McKee with serious injuries. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his trauma and died at the scene.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the Toyota Tundra.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly car crash in East Los Angeles.
