Derrick Mora, 24, Killed in Long Beach Motorcycle Crash on Pacific Coast
LONG BEACH, CA (September 30, 2020) – A motorcycle crash along Pacific Coast Highway killed Derrick Mora in Long Beach on Saturday evening.
The incident began when Derrick Mora was riding a 2020 Honda motorcycle west on Pacific Coast Highway. At the same time, a 2012 Porsche Panamera pulled out from a parking lot nearby.
Motorcycle vs Car Accident on PCH Near Ximeno Avenue
For an unknown reason, Mora then collided with the Porsche. The traffic accident occurred at around 7:15 p.m., just west of Ximeno Avenue.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist seriously injured as a result of the wreck. They rushed him to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities did not mention if the driver of the Panamera ended up hurt upon impact. The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
