De’Sean Rowe-Manns, 14, Killed in Arden-Arcade Hit-and-Run Crash
ARDEN-ARCADE (September 20, 2018) – A teen bicyclist was killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash along Watt Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to KCRA and FOX 40 News.
The victim has been identified as 14-year-old De’Sean Rowe-Manns.
As per the reports, California Highway Patrol said Rowe-Manns was riding a bicycle on Watt Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle.
DeSean was reportedly attempting to wheelie up onto the sidewalk when he fell backward toward Watt and ultimately hit by the motorist.

CHP affirmed that the boy was carried on the hood of the car as its driver fled the scene. The young cyclist was ultimately found unconscious and unresponsive in the front yard of a nearby home.
He was immediately transported to the hospital where he died. The collision occurred at around 5 a.m. near Whitney Avenue.
Meanwhile, officials described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored minivan or SUV. Anyone with information is urged to contact CHP at 916-348-2300.
