DESERT CENTER, California (Thursday, February 11, 2016) – A passenger vehicle collided with a big-rig truck on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, near the 30 Mile Curve. The Riverside County Fire Department helped rescue three parties from the fiery wreckage. Ambulances transported the three to a nearby medical facility, one with major injuries and two suffering only minor injuries.
The roadway was closed until the fire was put out.
The incident took place Wednesday morning at about 12:56 a.m. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
