4 Seriously Injured in Desert Center Crash on Interstate 10 Near Red Cloud
DESERT CENTER, CA (November 13, 2021) – A crash seriously injured several people on the Interstate 10 near Red Cloud Mine Road in Desert Center.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the incident on Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:46 a.m.
According to Cal Fire, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Desert Center. They crashed on the westbound side of the Interstate 10 near the Red Cloud Mine Road off-ramp.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed all patients to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the westbound lanes of the Interstate 10 to shut down near Red Cloud following the wreck. The cause of the Desert Center crash is still under investigation.
