1 Injured in Desert Center Crash Near Highway 62 and Highway 177
DESERT CENTER, CA (June 26, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Highway 62 and Highway 177 in Desert Center.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on June 22 at about 3:20 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Desert Center. The cars crashed at the intersection of Highway 62 and Highway 177.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Highway 62 and Highway 177 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Desert Center crash is still under investigation.
