DESERT CENTER, California (March 17, 2016) — David Zamayao, 30, of Whittier was killed and a second was injured in a rollover crash on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway at Mile Post 124, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fatal crash took place about 12:26 a.m. this morning when a solo car overturned. Firefighters and paramedics responded with police to the scene and pronounced one person dead upon arrival. The second person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
Police are investigating what caused the crash and will issue a report with their findings.
