2 Badly Injured in Desert Hot Springs Crash on 10 Freeway Near North Indian Canyon
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (August 22, 2021) – Two were badly injured after a car crash on the 10 Freeway in Desert Hot Springs.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:52 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Desert Hot Springs. They crashed on the westbound 10 Freeway, east of North Indian Canyon Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide, Catch Fire
Both vehicles then caught fire upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took the patients to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the car crash is still under investigation.
