Major Injury Car Accident on Dillon Road
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (April 26, 2023) — A major injury Desert Hot Springs crash happened Wednesday on Dillon Road at Bel Air Way.
The two-vehicle rollover collision occurred around 5 a.m. on April 26th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The drivers of a white Dodge Challenger and a blue Honda Accord were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the crash at this time, but one of the vehicles overturned and one caught on fire.
CAL FIRE Riverside sent paramedics and firefighters to the scene to help those involved. One person managed to get out of their overturned vehicle before they arrived, the report said.
A person with major injuries was transported by ambulance to Desert Regional Hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the collision.
