Minor Injury Car Accident at Desert Hot Springs Intersection

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2024) — A two-vehicle Desert Hot Springs crash happened Monday morning at Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.

The collision occurred at around 6:25 a.m. on Feb. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol. An iPhone from one of the vehicles alerted CHP dispatchers to the collision in the northbound lanes of Palm Drive.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Jeep Renegade and a silver Toyota sedan were involved.

California Department of Fire sent paramedics to the crash scene to help those injured and transported one person with minor injuries to a hospital.

A tow truck removed the damaged Jeep and the car from the roadway.

Traffic investigators are working to determine fault for the Desert Hot Springs crash on Palm Drive.
