1 Killed, 3 Badly Injured in Desert Hot Springs Crash on Palm Drive
DESERT HOT SPRINGS (December 20, 2018) – A traffic collision killed one person and badly injured three others along Palm Drive on Thursday afternoon, according to The Desert Sun and KESQ.
The accident was reported about 3 p.m.
As per the reports, Desert Hot Springs police and California Highway Patrol said two vehicles were both traveling south when for an unknown reason they collided on Palm Drive.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a total of four people who were hurt as a result of the crash.

All four were immediately taken to the hospital where one victim was later pronounced dead. The other three patients were being treated for moderate injuries.
The name of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, Palm Drive was forced to shut down northbound at Camino Idillio and southbound at Camino Aventura following the wreck. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
