Mack Marton, 29, of Desert Hot Springs ID’d as Man Killed in Crash
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, California (February 19, 2015) — A 29-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a head-on car accident involving two drivers at the intersection of North Indian Canyon Drive and Thomas Avenue, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
About 12:25 p.m., Riverside firefighters and CHP officers responded to the scene of the collision between a truck and a Toyota Camry sedan where at least one person was trapped in the wreckage. The individual died at the scene of the traffic accident. The report did not indicate any other injuries involved.
Police closed down the intersection temporarily to investigate the crash and will issue a report determining liability.
