Pedestrian Killed in Desert Hot Springs Crash at Palm and Hacienda
DESERT HOT SPRINGS (January 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the area of Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue Friday evening, according to The Desert Sun and KESQ.
The collision was reported on January 11 about 9:15 p.m.
As per the reports, Riverside County Fire Department and police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason near the intersection Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that the victim died as a result of the crash.

The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. KESQ News described the fatally injured party as a man.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the driver of the car involved stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
